1. Scope and controller

Arani is operated by Samuel Eguino, NIT 9392721015, Cochabamba, Bolivia (“arani,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

This policy applies to aranistudio.app, app.aranistudio.app, api.aranistudio.app, mcp.aranistudio.app, Connect Links, and related support communications.

2. Information we collect

Account and Organization information

We process your name, email address, protected authentication credentials, session information, Organization membership, and Brand names.

Connected Account information

When you authorize a social platform through its official OAuth process, we receive the identifiers, handles, labels, permissions, time zones, account metadata, and authorization credentials needed to operate the Connected Account.

Posts, media, and delivery records

We process captions, uploaded images and videos, schedules, per-platform tailoring, delivery statuses, platform post identifiers, Receipts, and analytics returned by connected platforms.

Inbox information

To provide the unified Inbox, we may process WhatsApp Conversations and Messages, public Comments and replies, timestamps, author handles, and contact names or phone numbers when the connected platform supplies them.

Developer and operational information

We process API Key identifiers, grants and permissions, Webhook Endpoints, Events, Audit Entries, request metadata, and security records. Secret credentials are protected and are not displayed again after issuance where the product says they are one-time values.

Website, waitlist, and support information

We process the email address you submit to the waitlist, messages you send us, and basic technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, timestamps, and security diagnostics produced when you use the service.

3. Where information comes from

  • Directly from you, including signup, uploads, settings, waitlist forms, API calls, and support messages.
  • From other Users in your Organization who invite you or configure a Brand.
  • From the social platforms you choose to connect.
  • Automatically from normal use of our app, API, MCP server, and infrastructure.

4. How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • create and secure accounts, Organizations, Brands, and sessions;
  • connect accounts and perform the publishing, scheduling, inbox, analytics, API, MCP, and webhook actions you request;
  • store media and produce Deliveries, Receipts, Events, and Audit Entries;
  • provide support, maintain the waitlist, and communicate service or legal changes;
  • prevent abuse, investigate failures, enforce our Terms, and protect the service; and
  • comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Depending on the context, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We disclose information only as needed for the following purposes:

  • Cloudflare: infrastructure, compute, database, object and media storage, network delivery, security, and privacy-focused website measurement.
  • Connected social platforms: Instagram and Facebook services provided by Meta, WhatsApp, TikTok, and LinkedIn, but only when you connect an account or direct arani to perform an action.
  • Your Organization: authorized Users can access data belonging to the Organization and its Brands according to their permissions.
  • Legal and safety needs: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the service.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral-analytics trackers.

6. Social-platform data and external contacts

Your use of a Connected Account remains subject to that platform’s terms and privacy rules. You choose which accounts to connect and may disconnect them through arani or the platform where available.

If you use arani to process information about customers, followers, message recipients, commenters, or other external people, your Organization is responsible for having a lawful basis, providing any required notice, and honoring their rights. Arani processes that information to provide the service on your Organization’s instructions.

7. Cookies and similar storage

We use authentication and session cookies, plus related browser storage, when needed to sign you in, preserve security, and operate the app. These technologies are not used for advertising. Our public legal pages work without JavaScript; Cloudflare may collect limited traffic and security diagnostics as our infrastructure provider.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep information while your account or Organization is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, secure it, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

You may request account or Organization deletion by emailing hola@aranistudio.app. After verifying the request and your authority, we will complete the deletion or explain any lawful exception within 30 days. Deletion covers account, Organization, Brand, Connected Account, Post, media, Inbox, API Key, and Webhook data under your control.

We may retain limited records when required for law, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Protected backup copies age out through normal backup cycles and are not restored for routine product use.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including encrypted transport, scoped access, protected credentials, and operational audit records. No system is completely secure, so protect passwords and API Keys, restrict grants, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

10. International transfers

Arani is operated from Bolivia. Cloudflare and connected social platforms may process information in other countries through global infrastructure. Where required, we use contractual and technical measures intended to protect information during those transfers.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data; object to certain processing; or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also disconnect a Connected Account and revoke platform access.

Send requests to hola@aranistudio.app. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant Organization before acting.

12. Children

Arani is a business service and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will post the revised version here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
